Hello Roach Riders,
The annual club meeting/trail work weekend was held on October 31-November 2nd. Members came up to participate in the meeting and help maintain the wonderful trails that we all ride! The majority of trail work week end was dedicated to constructing a new bridge for the 66 reroute. Thanks to Lindy, Derek, Peter, Jeff, Mike, Chris, Fred, and Richie for getting this project done. There is still work to be done to get this trail open, and there is a lot of signing that has to happen before the season starts. Members who attend and helped get the trails ready were able to stay at the Kokadjo Cabins & Trading Post courtesy of Fred and Marie (thank you). If you do any work on the bridge or the trails, please make sure that Marie has record of your time. Saturday night was the annual potluck feast and election of officers. The prime rib, pot pie, beans, jalapeño poppers, sausage with peppers and onions, awesome pumpkin squares and cake etc., etc., were all awesome. YUM! The results of the election were: Richie Alexander, President, Andy Diskes, Vice President, Joy Idman, Treasurer, Heidi Mansir, Secretary, Fred Candeloro, Trail Master and Jeff Gagnon, Clerk.
